TALON READY TO UNLEASH THE NEXT CHAPTER!
8/17/08 - Hey Folks, A lil update for everyone! The new album is coming along fantastically, and we are all very pleased with the results so far. We are positive that this new release will not only surprise our fans, it will also reshape and redefine us as a band, and what we do. We can not wait to unleash our latest effort, "FALLEN ANGELS" on each and every one of you - as we have never been prouder as musicians, recording artists and performers. To all of our UK fans and music enthusiasts that will be attending Firefest V, we can not wait to give u the live and in-color presentation that is - TALON!
A special note....please welcome to the fold, Talon's new Lead Vocalist - Chandler Mogel! We promise he will not disappoint. This kid is on fire! Keep your eyes on this site for upcoming news on the album and shows...and YES there will be SHOWS folks!!

TALON SIGNS RECORD CONTRACT WITH KIVEL RECORDS!
2/26/08 - Kivel Records would like to welcome to the label, west coast rockers....Talon! The band that brought the Wrecking Ball on their 2002 S/T release (Frontiers Records) is back and ready to pick up where they left off, but with a even bigger punch!! The band is currently writing material for the next album, which they will start recording this spring at the Recovery Room Studios. Drummer John Parker had this to say about the new album, label and future: "We are very excited about the next chapter in our career as a band and are looking forward to working with Kivel Records. The new material is something we are exited about, as it will bring us to a fresh and new level as a band. When it's done, I can promise that this album will kick your teeth in. We can't wait to unleash the new songs on a live crowd, which will be sooner then you think.....!" Look for a early summer release...

TALON set to play at Firefest 5!
2/25/08 - TALON will play at the Firefest 5 on Saturday, October 25th, 2008. Firefest 5 takes place in Nottingham, U.K. on the weekend of October 24th thru 26th, 2008. Five bands will play at the Trent University Students Union on Friday 24th, with seven bands, including TALON, in the main room at Rock City on both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th

1/2/08 - TALON are in the last stages of writing tracks for the follow-up to their debut CD and are very excited about the new songs. Soon the band will be announcing some great news about their next CD and more 2008 plans! Stay tuned!

10/17/07 - As rockers from 24 countries and 34 states ascended on South Bend, a great festival was enjoyed by all! John was part of the festivities and had a kick-ass time!

10/1/07 - For a special treat, Andrew has added an "All-Star" opening act to start off the MELODICROCKFEST 10th Anniversary show ! They have been dubbed the "MelodicRock All-Stars", mainly because they have never actually met each other and will do a 40-minute set of some awesome covers for this one occasion to give the show a fitting kick-off ! In this fabulous band will be: Vocalist Michael Eden (Eden's Curse), Keyboardist Extraordinaire Eric Ragno (Ted Poley, China Blue, etc.), Guitarist Vic Rivera (Crunch, Andriangale), Bassist Doug O'Dell (Crunch), and John Parker (Talon, Voxen). How about that for a lineup?
